Brian has close to ten years’ experience in public health work having started his career as a front-line community health worker helping communities devastated by the two decade civil war in Northern Uganda to access essential health services. He has worked with various multi-lateral organizations including World Vision, USAID, PATH and Makerere University in health programs and systems strengthening, health technologies and academic fields. Brian recently worked to advocate for inclusive and effective health policies with PATH, and is currently working with WHO providing technical support for health systems strengthening and new vaccine introduction in target African countries. Brian is a 2012 Advancing Public Health Excellence (APEX) award winner and a 2018 Aspen New Voices Fellow.
