Fellows in the News: February 2024

  1. ElsaMarie D’Silva, Aspen New Voices 2015 Fellow and her organization won The Anthem Awards for Best Use of Data. This recognizes the “best, most innovative or effective use of data to raise awareness for human and civil rights.”  
  2. Renzo Guinto, Aspen New Voices 2016 Fellow, began a new affiliation as Senior Honorary Visiting Fellow at University of Cambridge. He will be collaborating remotely with the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, the School of Clinical Medicine, and the wider University in developing educational and research opportunities on planetary health and sustainable healthcare.  
  3. Isabelle Kamariza, Aspen New Voices 2019 Fellow, won the 2024 Elevate Prize.
  4. Adekemi Adeniyan, Aspen New Voices 2021 Fellow, was named a finalist for the Study UK Alumni Awards: Social Action category Nigeria Study UK.
  5. Cedric Habiyaremye, Aspen New Voices 2020 Fellow, has joined the prestigious “Aspen Strategy Group Rising Leaders Program”.
  6. Adebisi Alimi, Aspen New Voices 2014 Fellow, began a new job as Director at Vengiance Productions.
  7. Tlaleng Mofokeng, Aspen New Voices 2018 Fellow, was featured on the cover of Africa Forbes February/March 2024 issues and in their list of Over 30 Under 50: The Trailblazers Leading Change in Their Third and Fourth Decades.
