Fellows in the News: January 2024

  1. Adebisi Alimi, an Aspen New Voices 2014 Fellow, was included on Inclusive Awards’ Diversity Power List 2023-24.
  2. Isabelle Kamariza, an Aspen New Voices 2019 Fellow, was selected as a 2024 Nonprofit Accelerator Fellow with the Segal Family Foundation.
  3. Naadiya Moosajee, an Aspen New Voices 2019 Fellow, and her organization WomHub are one of the first recipients of the Climate Gender Equity Fund managed by 2X Global, announced at COP28.
  4. Jemimah Njuki, an Aspen New Voices 2017 Fellow, co-edited a book with former colleagues at International Food Policy Research Institute that’s just been released, Food Systems Transformation in Kenya: Lessons from the Past and Policy Options for the Future.
  5. Desmond Jumbam, an Aspen New Voices 2022 Fellow, launched season 3 of Global Health Unfiltered Podcast on 12th January.
  6. Shuchin Bajaj, an Aspen New Voices 2022 Fellow, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, was recognized as an Outstanding Social Entrepreneur of the Year, 2024, in the Social Entrepreneurs category by the Schwab Foundation.
  7. Mohamed Aburawi, an Aspen New Voices 2020 Fellow, has been named by CauseArtist as a “Social Entrepreneur to Watch in 2024” and highlighted his work with Speetar.
