Stephanie Kimou is the Founder + principal consultant for PopWorks Africa, a doula to black parents, and an educator who has taught International Relations at Georgetown University and decolonizing international development to over 200 practitioners globally. She has a background in youth and gender, with extensive in-country experience in francophone Africa, particularly with building and advising sexual reproductive health advocacy strategies, infusing meaningful youth engagement into development agendas, and building relationships and partnerships with governmental agencies and iNGOs for sustainable and locally rooted development solutions. She is an Ivorian-American who loves Abidjan and is currently based in Baltimore, Maryland.
